BIOGRAPHY
Born in Zagreb, she began singing before she could speak, and her musical journey started with the "Trešnjevački Mališani" group. At the age of 6, she started learning the piano, and throughout her childhood, she dreamt of learning the saxophone. At the age of 11, she received a scholarship to the prestigious music boarding school, "The Purcell School of Music" in London, where she began learning the flute, and later on, solo singing. At 18, she received a scholarship to "The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland," where she continued to build her musical education, founded her first original band "Shiver," gained valuable experiences in musicals, orchestras, and experienced the charms of student life in Glasgow.
After completing her studies in singing and flute at the Royal Academy, she temporarily returned to Croatia to be closer to snowy slopes, family, and the sea. However, she soon received an offer she couldn't refuse from "The American International School of Zagreb" and the band "Zabranjeno Pušenje," prompting her to make Croatia her home once again. Since her return, Lana has had numerous musical collaborations, gained certificates in International Education, and begun her solo career. Lana fulfilled her dream and learned to play the saxophone, which she successfully uses in various engagements and her singer-songwriter work. Lana patiently awaited her moment to express herself in the realm of songwriting.
She had adored creating music her entire life, participated as a co-author on various songs, and in 2020, she finally gathered the courage, time, and strength to embark on this adventure. She presented her debut single "Naš svijet" at the CMC festival and then signed an exclusive contract with the largest record label in Croatia, "Croatia Records." Following that, she released her debut album "Avantura," presented her work at numerous concerts, and continues to enjoy wonderful collaborations with artists like Crvena Jabuka, Divlje Jagode, and others. In 2023, Lana won the first prize at the singer-songwriter festival “Glas Kantautora”in Zadar, with her song “Samo u tami”. Lana is currently working on her second album, alongside her teaching career and her concerts.
